Day 1. Arriving Dar es Salaam International airport-meet & greet. You transfer straight to your first nights accommodation is Morogoro (approx 2 1/2 hrs driving).Your destination is Morogoro, a neat, well laid-out town standing in lush, fertile country at the foot of the Uluguru Mountains, which loom some 2000 metres above it.
Day 2. You will leave early this morning to make the most of your time in Mikumi National Park, approx 1.5 hours drive away. Overnight at Vuma Hills or Foxes Safari Camp - 2 nights (B, L,D)
Day 3. You'll spend a full day in and around the park. It is home to elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra and many sorts of antelope. You will drive to some different parts of the park, maybe seeing herds of elephant as you pass. (B,L,D)
Day 4. You will leave late evening to Udzungwa Mountains National Park, approx 2 hours drive away. The park is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and exciting wilderness areas with unique wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest. The park is home of primate and known from the treasure of high biodiversity of plants and animals. The park has high density of endemism species with some plants and animals that are only found in these mountains nowhere else in the world can be found hence centre for endemism in the Eastern Arc Mountains. Udzungwa Mountains National Park is one of thirty-four ‘’World Biodiversity Hotspot’’ and one of 200 WWF Ecoregion of global critical importance. The Eastern Arc Mountains are small and fragmented mountains each block having a patch of remaining dance tropical rain forests with high rainfall which seems as Island in the sea of arid savanna vegetation. The mountain range sometimes is termed ‘’The Galapagos Island of Africa’’. Galapagos Islands found in Southern America has unique plants and animals

Day 5. Udzungwa Mountains with wilderness forest offer a superb venue for hiking, climbing and viewing of rare, endangered and endemic species. The park being mountainous tourism is mostly hiking. The following are activities conducted. Hiking to waterfalls and forest, Mountain climbing to the highest peak Luhomero and second peak Mwanihana, Picnicking in picnic site and waterfalls, Cultural tourism to the cultural and historical site in and out the park.
Trails – A variety of trails are available to suit different abilities, including short half-day trails mountain climbing trails with overnight camping and long-range wilderness trails taking several days. The trails are distributed to various tourism attractions in the eastern including Sanje Waterfalls, Prince Bernhard Waterfall, Mway Waterfall, Njokamoni Waterfall, Sonjo, Mwanihana, Rumemo trails and in the Western side of the park including Mbatwa Manaluvele, Mbatwa Mdene Ibito Ng’ung’umbi, Udekwa-Luhomero, Chui-Chavemba and Udekwa Nyumbanitu.
Day 5. Car drive through the beautiful Uluguru Mountains to Ruaha National Park. Overnight at the lodge or tented camp (B, L, D).
Day 6. Optional safaris at the lodge or tented camp.
Day 8. Fly from Ruaha to Dar es Salaam. The city is centred on the harbour where traditionally rigged dhows complete with modern cargo ships. The city itself is an eclectic mix of Swahili, Germany, Asian and British architecture, reflecting its colonial past and more recent history. It is a relatively new city - Sultan Majid bin Said of Zanzibar, saw the potential of Dar as a deepwater port because of its strategic position at the centre of the East African coast. In 1886, he began work on his palace, built of coral blocks hewn on Changuu Island off Zanzibar. He died before its completion and the palace fell into ruin - he gave the port its name ''Haven of Peace''.

ZANZIBAR EXTENTION
Day 8. Fly to Zanzibar Stone Town. B&B at Dhow Palace Hotel
Day 9. Explore the magical Stone Town of Zanzibar. Stay Dhow Palace Hotel (B&B).
Day 10. Transfer from Stone Town to your resort on the beach. (about 45 minutes drive) – Hotel – 4 nights (BD).
Days 11 – 13). The beautiful coastline with its palm-fringed beaches create an image of a forgotten paradise. Most are protected by coral reefs and are made of white coral sand. Here you can relax on the balmy, tropical shores of the Indian Ocean. In the morning it may be possible to see some of the local fisherman, in their traditional dhows, bringing in their catch. Spend the days relaxing on the beach or snorkelling in crystal-clear water. There are bicycles for hire or several optional excursions can be arranged through your hotel, such as scuba diving, boat excursions, fishing trips or a spice tour of the island. You could also opt to visit the nearby turtle sanctuary where injured turtles and other marine animals are cared for until they are well enough to be wild.
Day 14). Transfer from the beach directly to the airport and fly out – from Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam.
