If your safari does not include an internal flight, then you can take up to 60 or 80 pounds of luggage per person. If your safari includes internal flights, most of the local flights would have a luggage weight limit of 45 pounds per traveler including a carry on luggage.

http://www.africansafarileader.com/images/st1.jpg           Animal Migration in East Africa refers to the movement of animals between Serengeti and Mara parks.

In late May / early June wildebeests and zebras begin their annual migration from western Serengeti thru the northern Serengeti to the Mara crossing the Mara river. They reach Maasai Mara park sometime in mid July /early August depending on rain endings.

http://www.africansafarileader.com/images/st1.jpg           After the short rains in the month of November, the herds move back into Serengeti and make their way to the southern pastures where they rest and feed through the rains until their search for better grazing leads them back north in their annual migration once again.
